Rudy Cabirou and UDFR split ways

The time has come to announce that Rudy will no longer race Unior/Devinci Factory Racing. Rudy joined us ahead of 2017 season, when he made a bold step to go from French to international team.

Highlight of the 2017 season was top-10 result in the World Cup, something he could not repeat or improve in 2018 due to injury on the training camp and on Lošinj.

Rudy: “It was a great experience! I’m really happy to share these two years with Unior’s team, first as Unior Bike Tools and in the past season as Unior/Devinci Factory Racing. I met great people and learned a lot. I’ve enjoyed every minute of these two seasons that brought a lot of success, but also a big injury. I want to thank everybody involved in this project for their support. I wish good things for the team in the future!”

Team manager Grega Stopar said: “Rudy is a great guy, I’m happy I can call him a friend. As a racer he’s committed and is willing to work hard, he’s also very smart in his approach to racing. His passion for downhill racing is amazing, so I’m sure he’ll be back chasing very good results. All of us on the team wish him all the best in the future.”

Rudy will tell you more about his future soon, so will we…
